Warriors Brave High Winds at Platte River Rumble

ASHLAND, Neb. – Midland University had a small contingent of runners compete at the Platte River Rumble on Friday, with several athletes posting solid performances in the 20 mph winds. Leading the Warriors was Danika Leuenberger, who finished 56th overall with a time of 26:35.85. Close behind was Madison Bergstrom, who placed 58th with a time of 26:49.54.

Also representing Midland were Dala Drowne, who placed 78th with a time of 32:27.66, and Amber Rodgers, who finished 80th with a time of 44:40.32.

Midland will return to competition next Thursday, October 24, at the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, South Dakota.
