Trio of Warriors Traverse Wildcat Classic

WAYNE, Neb. – Midland University took to the course at the Wildcat Classic Cross Country Meet on Friday afternoon up in Wayne, Nebraska. The Warriors had three runners in the 6K race hosted by Wayne State College.

Myia Johnson placed 12th and had the top time for Midland. Running in a light rain or mist, she turned in a 25:32.94.

Magdalena De La O and Shyanne Pipkin placed 58th and 69th on the day. De La O ran a time of 28:54.88 while Pipkin ran a 30:43.97.

Next up on the schedule is the Briar Cliff Invitational. The Warriors will compete at the Adams Nature Preserve on Saturday, October 7. The course in North Sioux City, South Dakota will also be the site of the 2023 Great Plains Athletics Conference Championship in November.
