
Paulino and Schramm Headline Warriors’ All-GPAC Honorees
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced the 2025 Women's Wrestling All-Conference teams. Midland University's Emily Paulino and Makena Schramm were both named to the all-conference teams, while Taylor Hood and Keira Nartatez received honorable mention honors.
Paulino, a senior from Honolulu, Hawaii, was the runner-up at 124 pounds at the GPAC Championships. Schramm, a sophomore from Fairbury, Nebraska, finished second at 145 pounds. With their performances, both have qualified for the NAIA National Championships.
Hood, a sophomore from Ontario, Oregon, placed third at 124 pounds, while Nartatez, a freshman from Santa Maria, California, took fourth at 131 pounds.
Doane University's Cristelle Rodriguez was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Wrestler of the Year. Doane's head coach, Julian Gaytan, was selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Wrestling Coach of the Year after leading the Tigers to the inaugural GPAC Women's Wrestling Championship. Mora Peterson, also from Doane, was named GPAC Freshman of the Year.
