Schramm Earns GPAC Wrestler of the Week Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its women's wrestler of the week for December 9-15, 2024 contests. Midland University's Makena Schramm was named the GPAC Women's Wrestler of the Week, voted on by the conference's sports information directors.

Schramm, a sophomore from Fairbury, Nebraska, won the consolation championship in the 145 "B" bracket at the North Central Women's Invite over the weekend. She did so with three wins by fall and a technical fall.
