Myers Earns Weekly GPAC Indoor Field Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its women's indoor track & field athletes of the week for events held December 9-15, 2024. Midland University's Kerrigan Myers was named the GPAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week while Adrianna Rodencal of Concordia University earned track honors.

Myers, a senior from Galion, Ohio, had a spectacular meet this weekend. On Friday, she won the women's pentathlon with a score of 3274 points (new school record) by taking the top spot in 4 of the 5 events. She followed that up with an NAIA "A" Standard time of 8.64 in the prelims of the 60m hurdles. She would go on to run a time of 8.73 in the finals to place second. She currently ranks seventh in the NAIA in the pentathlon and has the fourth-fastest time in the 60m hurdles this season.
