Warriors Battle Weather at Concordia Invite

LINCOLN, Neb. – Midland University returned to the course this week, competing in the Concordia Spring Invitational at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb. The Warriors battled wet and windy conditions throughout the event, facing a field of 77 golfers.

With the hockey season wrapped up, Callie Maguire transitioned to the golf team, leading Midland with a 67th-place finish and an overall score of 196 (+52). She shot 104 (+32) in the first round before improving with a 92 (+20) in the second.

Isabel Brown posted a personal-best 96 (+24) in the first round and followed with a 103 (+31) in the second, finishing 69th with an overall score of 199 (+55).

Brooklyn Reynolds rounded out the Midland golfers, placing 75th with a total score of 233 (+89). Jocelyn Kumm shot 101 (+29) in the first round but did not compete in the second, finishing 77th.

Midland will return to action April 7–8 at the Sand Creek Invitational in Newton, Kan.
