Warriors Take Part in NAIA-BCA Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Midland University returned to action this past weekend, competing in the NAIA-BCA Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky. The Invitational featured two events, with a combined score determining qualification for match play to crown an overall champion. The Warriors finished 11th in both events, falling short of advancing to match play.

On the first day, Midland bowled a team total of 4,245, placing 11th out of 16 teams. On day two, they remained in 11th, scoring 3,891 for a total of 8,136.

Bailee Spriggs was the Warriors' top individual performer, finishing 32nd overall with a total score of 889 over five games, averaging 177.8. Spriggs surpassed the 200-point mark in one of her games, recording a 213 in her second.

Emily Ziegler and Kayleigh McKenzie followed closely behind, finishing back-to-back in 38th and 39th, respectively. Ziegler opened strong with a 233 in her first game and totaled 880, averaging 176. McKenzie saved her best performance for the final game, bowling a 247 to finish with 876 and an average of 175.2.

Midland will return to competition on December 7-8 when they travel to Addison, Illinois, to participate in the Warhawk Open.
