Track & Field Programs Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

FREMONT, Neb. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its 2025 NAIA All-Academic Teams and Individual Award recipients, with Midland University earning recognition on both the men's and women's sides. Both Warrior squads were named All-Academic Teams, and a total of 12 student-athletes—nine men and three women—were honored individually for their combined excellence in the classroom and in competition.

The Midland men's team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.14 to secure All-Academic Team honors. The nine Warriors named All-Academic Athletes were:

  • Lucas Hjortkjaer
  • Kenicious Limo
  • Jonathan Mahoney
  • Andrew Nunez
  • Blake Olbrich
  • Raheem Richards
  • Henri Stoeckermann
  • Koen Steenblok
  • Braden Taylor

On the women's side, Midland compiled an impressive team GPA of 3.49 to earn team recognition. Individually, three standout student-athletes were named All-Academic Athletes:

  • Maggie Heesch
  • Kerrigan Myers
  • Hannah Newton

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, programs must achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher, calculated from all student-athletes listed on the indoor and/or outdoor eligibility certificate. Individual honorees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and achieve an "A" or "B" standard in a championship event during either the indoor or outdoor season.
