Five Warriors Earn All-GPAC Cheer, Jesse Selected as Top Athlete

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Competitive Cheer All-Conference Team has been selected. Midland University had five athletes earn All-GPAC honors including Haley Jesse, who was named the GPAC Cheer Athlete of the Year.

Joining her on the All-GPAC First Team was Kenedee Rowen. Steve Enriquez and Shaleigh Schall were selected to the All-GPAC Second Team while Tela Schwery was named to the All-GPAC Third Team.

To be selected to the All-Conference teams, the student-athletes needed to perform a set of skills as outlined by the NAIA Cheer and Dance Coaches' Handbook. A minimum score on these skills (as judged) was required for selection for the teams.
