Warriors Take Second at Home Invite

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University the mat for the first time this season as it hosted its annual Midland Invitational inside the Wikert Event Center on Friday evening. The Warriors welcomed the teams from Baker University, Dordt University, and Xavier University of Louisiana.

Midland earned second place with a score of 88.12 with a .25 deduction while Xavier earned the top mark from the judges with a score of 91.32. Dordt took third place with a score of 65.30 followed by Baker with a score of 65.07.

It will be a quick turnaround for Midland as it will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the Grand View Invitational on Sunday, January 28.
