Bio

Jeff Braun has served as Midland University’s Sports Information Director/Assistant Athletic Director since August of 2017. Prior to the promotion to the head of the athletic communications department, Braun was a sports information graduate assistant at Midland for two years.

Braun began his career in athletics as a junior high and high school coach, coaching basketball, football, and track and field in Kansas for over a decade. He also served as the Athletic Director of Deerfield High School and Rolla High School during that time. 

As a graduate assistant (2015-17), Braun helped grow the social media presence of Midland Sports, assisted in redesigning the athletic website, and aided in the implementation of Stretch Internet for home event broadcasts.

A native of Deerfield, Kansas, Braun graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
