Chelsea Schmitt was named the Director of Athletic Training in August of 2022 after serving as an outreach PRN from Methodist Fremont Health for the prior four years at Midland.

Originally from Norfolk, Nebraska, she earned her bachelor’s degree from George Fox University in Athletic Training with a minor in Coaching. She earned her master’s degree from Indiana State University before returning to Nebraska.

Schmitt and her husband, Andrew, reside in Fremont with their two children, Jamison and Reagan, and their two dogs.
