Bio

Jennifer Houchin Wragge, ’97, was a standout in women’s basketball while at Midland.  From 1993-97, Jennifer helped Midland Lutheran College to an impressive 80-35 overall record and a 33-15 conference record on the basketball court.  During her playing career, MLC qualified for the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 1995 and 1996.  Jennifer scored 1,513 career points, averaging 13.2 points per game, and she grabbed 706 career rebounds, averaging 6.1 rebounds per game.  She is the 7th all-time leading scorer at MLC.  She earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in ’94, ’95, ’96 and ’97.  In addition, she earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-America honors in ’97 and NAIA 3rd Team All-America honors in ’96.  She also earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in ’97.  Jennifer is the Head Girl’s Basketball coach and teaches Physical Education for Elkhorn Public Schools in Elkhorn, NE.  Jennifer Houchin Wragge is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her outstanding athletic accomplishments.
