Mark Williams, '90, participated in basketball, golf, and tennis during his athletic career at Midland Lutheran College. In basketball, Williams played in 115 games during his career, averaging 17.8 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game. He set Midland career records for rebounds (916), blocked shots (104) and field goals made (821). In addition, Williams set the Midland career scoring record of 2,050 points. All four of these records still stand today. He received All-Conference and All-District honors. Williams, a teacher, and coach in Blair, earned a master's degree in secondary school counseling in 1998. He is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his tremendous athletic accomplishments.
