Vicki Harlan Stroup, '85, was a four-year starter on the women's basketball team during her tenure at Midland. She received All-Conference and All-District honors three years, earned Academic All-American her senior year, and was named Second Team All-American her senior year. Stroup was named to the All-Tournament Team at the NAIA National Tournament. She is tied for ninth on the all-time Midland scoring roster with 1,326 points. As a senior, she averaged 15.7 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game. Stroup, an insurance underwriter officer and manager who lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri, is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her outstanding athletic accomplishments.
