Chris Strehle, '05, was a standout in Football at Midland. A three-year starter at running back from 2002-2004, Chris averaged 1,009 yards per season during that time span. For his career, Chris rushed for 3,066 total yards and recorded 21 touchdowns. He averaged 4.95 yards per carry and 87.6 yards per game for his career. In 2003, Chris rushed for a career-high 1,108 yards, averaging 110.8 yards per game and 5.25 yards per carry. He recorded 9 touchdowns during the '03 campaign. He also earned NAIA Offensive Player of the Week honors once during the '03 season. A three-time All-GPAC recipient, Chris earned 2nd team honors in 2002 and 2004, and he earned 1st team honors in 2003. In 2003 and 2004, Chris was named NAIA Scholar All-America. He ranks 3rd all-time at Midland in total yards rushing. A 2005 graduate, Chris earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He currently works for F&M Bank in West Point, NE, as Vice President and Loan Officer. Chris and his wife, Melinda, live in West Point and have four children: Mason, Kenna, Eleanor, and Duke. Chris Strehle is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
