Bio

Shawn Riley, '98, was a standout in football at Midland. During his four-year career from 1994-97, Shawn started every game as a running back for the Warriors. A four-time All-Conference performer, Shawn was the perfect example of consistency throughout his career. He finished his career as the All-Time leading rusher at Midland, producing 3,245 career rushing yards for the Warriors. He broke the 13-year-old record of Midland Hall of Fame member Ray Koonce (3,104 yards). Shawn also owns the career record for carries in a career with 732. For his career, Shawn averaged 811.3 yards rushing per season and 4.4 yards per carry. He also scored 36 career touchdowns. As a freshman in 1994, Shawn helped lead Midland into the NAIA National Playoffs. He was also a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Shawn is a Home Mortgage consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Shawn Riley is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
