Bio
Valerie Reiman, ’04, was a standout in Softball at Midland, setting multiple school records as a pitcher from 2001-2004. Upon graduation in ’04, Valerie had established school records for career wins (68), career innings pitched (578 2/3), career strikeouts (539), and career ERA (1.89). In 2003 and 2004, Valerie helped guide the Warriors to back-to-back GPAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships and, in 2003, she helped lead Midland to their first-ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Valerie was a First Team All-GPAC recipient in 2003 and 2004, and she was named GPAC Pitcher of the Year in ’03 and ’04, as well. Additionally, Valerie was the NAIA Region IV Tournament MVP in 2003. In 2003 and 2004, she earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-America honors and NAIA Scholar All-America honors. Valerie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Midland in Education in 2004 and her Master’s in Education from Doane College in 2012. She has been a 6th-grade teacher at Mead Public Schools since 2006. Valerie Reiman is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her outstanding athletic accomplishments.
