Bio

Rich Ray, ’10, has been the Voice of the Warriors for the past four decades. Beginning in the 1990s and continuing into the 2020s, Rich has been a consistent figure for Warrior Athletics. He has broadcast football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, and softball contests during his career, including multiple broadcasts of regional and national championship events. In addition to covering Midland Athletics, Rich has also covered athletic events for Fremont High School, Archbishop Bergan High School, American Legion Baseball, and many more, throughout his broadcasting career. He has broadcast over 3,000 events in his career. In 2009, Rich was recognized by the Nebraska Coaches Association as its Media Person of the Year. In 2022, Rich was named Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Fremont Moo baseball team. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Midland in 2010 in Broadcast Journalism. Originally from Blair, NE, Rich now lives in Fremont and has two sons, Brock and Jacob. Rich Ray is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions to Midland Athletics.
