Bio

A teacher and administrator at Midland for over four decades, Dr. Edwin Prauner, '38, participated in football and track while a Midland student. His contributions to the college as head of the business division, as director of student activities, and as dean of men have left a legacy of achievement. He went on to graduate school at the State University of Iowa and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received an honorary doctorate from Midland. Active in church and community, he has held office both at the local and district levels of Kiwanis and is a long-time member of the Fremont Planning Committee. As an outstanding athlete, beloved teacher and administrator, and dedicated community servant, Dr. Edwin Prauner embodies the best of Midland's ideals.
