Mike W. Pirtle, '75, was involved in numerous extracurricular activities as a student at Midland College; however, it was his successful involvement in Midland athletics for which he is inducted into the College's Hall of Fame. Mike was a four-year starting quarterback and a member of the undefeated 1974 Warrior football team which triumphed over Friends University in the Mineral Water Bowl. Mike also participated in baseball while at Midland. Since his graduation from Midland, Mike has continued his record of success in the law profession. He currently serves as a partner of the Walentine, O'Toole, McQuillan, & Gordon law firm in Omaha, Nebraska. He is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments as a Midland student-athlete and his outstanding professional success since graduation.
