Bio
Gerald L. Otte, '61, was an all-around Midland athlete, participating in football, basketball, track, and cross country. A member of the 1961 conference champion football team, he was also a standout in My Draemel's basketball program. Since graduation from Midland, he has achieved distinction in the field of education having taught and coached in the Arlington and Blair High Schools. He went on to become superintendent of the Blair Public Schools, a position he still holds. Service to the community is a priority of Otte, who is a member of the Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and First Lutheran Church. His accomplishments on the playing field, in the classroom, and in the administrator's office make Gerald Otte a worthy member of Midland's Hall of Fame.
