Bio

Brad Nick, '86, was a standout in cross country and track and field while at MLC. As a member of the Midland Cross Country team, Nick helped guide the Warriors to the conference championship in 1981, 1982, and 1983. Nick was the individual conference champion in 1982 and 1983. He also qualified for the NAIA National Cross Country Championship in 1982 and 1983. In track and field, Nick earned NAIA All-America honors in the Marathon in 1983 and he earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in 1983 and 1986. In 1982, 1983, and 1986, he was the district champion in the 1000-meter run as well as the conference champion. He set school records in the 5000-meter run, the 10,000-meter run, the marathon, and the indoor three-mile run. Nick won the Petrow Award in 1986. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Law School in 1989 and he is currently a partner at Sidner, Svoboda, Schilke, Thomsen, Boggy, and Nick in Fremont. Brad Nick is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
