Long-standing friends of Midland College, Dale (L’38) and Ruth Lund are inducted into the Hall of Fame for their loyal support of both Warrior athletics and the College.  Dale served as Midland president for 13 years before retiring in 1981.  He has served as chairman of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Association of the Independent Colleges and Universities in Nebraska, and was a member of the Council on the Mission of the LCA Colleges and Universities.  Ruth has been an active volunteer and leader in the Midland and Fremont communities in such organizations as the Fremont-Midland Entertainment Series and Midland Women.  Both Dale and Ruth are active members of the Midland Endowment Society and Warrior Booster Club.  It is for their outstanding community service, devotion to Midland Lutheran College, and love of Warrior athletics that the College inducts Dr. L. Dale and Ruth Lund into the Hall of Fame.
