Bio
Cindy Hays Klepper, '92, chartered new territory in Lady Warrior basketball. She is the all-time leading scorer at Midland with 2,567 points, which was the Nebraska women's basketball all-time record scoring record. Hays Klepper was a four year starter for MLC, earning Honorable Mention All-America honors in 1989, 3rd Team All-America honors in 1990 and 1991, and 1st Team All-America honors in 1992. She was named NAIA Scholar All-America in 1991 and 1992 and was named Kodak All-America in 1990. The Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal-Star named her Athlete of the Year in 1992. She was named First Team All-Conference and All-District four straight years and her teammates selected her as MVP four straight years. She currently holds the school records for points in a game, season, and career, field goals made in a game, season, and career, free throws made in a career, and scoring average in a season and career. Hays Klepper won the Outstanding Woman Athlete Award at MLC in 1992. She is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her amazing athletic achievements.
