Bio

William R. Hunter, ’50 is distinguished in all areas of his life.  The Warrior Hall of Fame honors him for his four years of football and two years of basketball and track at Midland.  In addition, he has officiated football games for twenty-five years on the high school, NAIA, and NCAA levels.  Bill officiated for seven years in the Big Eight conference.  In 1988 he was named to the North High Hall of Fame and in 1977 earned the Alumni Achievement Award from Midland.  Bill is an active member of the Midland Board of Trustees, has been United Way Chairman in Austin, and is involved in numerous other public service projects.  His success is business and willingness to volunteer his time and talents, demonstrate the values Midland Lutheran College endeavors to instill in its graduates.
