Bio

Lonnie Graver, '90, participated in basketball and baseball while at Midland Lutheran College. The highlight of his basketball career was being a member of the first MLC men's basketball team to qualify for the NAIA National Tournament (1990). He earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 1989 and, in 1990, earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District honors. He was selected to play in the District XI All-Star game and earned NAIA Scholar All-America honors in 1990. During his MLC career, Graver averaged 13.7 points per game and 3.7 assists per game and never missed a game. He scored a career total of 1,647 points, sixth on the all-time scoring chart. He currently holds MLC records for three-point baskets in a season (105) and career (253). In baseball, Graver earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District honors in 1990. He was named co-winner of the 1990 Petrow Award. He is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic achievements.
