Bio

Scott Engelhardt, '81, participated in football while at Midland Lutheran College. As an offensive tackle and team captain in 1979, Engelhardt earned NAIA First Team All-America honors, leading MLC to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Playoffs. The Warriors finished the '79 season with a 9-1 record and they were ranked 5th in NAIA II. As a defensive lineman in 1978, he earned First Team All-Conference honors. During his four years as a member of the MLC program, Engelhardt helped lead the Warriors to a 26-13 overall record. In addition to earning NAIA All-America honors in 1979, he was named Kodak All-America, First Team All-Conference, All-State, and First Team All-District. Engelhardt was the first at MLC to be named Kodak All-America. Engelhardt was named the Petrow Award winner in 1980. He is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
