Bio

Eric Eddie, '00, was a standout in Basketball at Midland from 1996-2000. Eric earned NIAC Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 1988 and 1999, and he earned NIAC 1st Team All-Conference honors in 2000. In addition, Eddie also earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2000. In his senior season, Eddie scored 548 points and averaged 17.7 points per game. He helped guide the Warriors to the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 2000. In the NIAC Tournament Semifinal and Final victories, Eric scored 20 and 22 points, respectively, for Midland. He also led the Warriors in their national tournament game against 4th-seeded St. Francis (IN). For his career, Eric scored 1,508 points (10th all-time at Midland) and he recorded 358 rebounds, 188 assists, and 135 steals. At the conclusion of his playing career, Eric ranked 2nd all-time at Midland for three-point shots made in a career (246) and 3rd all-time at Midland in steals for a career (135). He also ranked 3rd and 5th, respectively, for three-point shots made in a season (90 and 65). Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management in 2000. He began working for M.E. Collins Contracting as a General Contractor in 2000 and became a Site Superintendent in 2002. Originally from Wahoo, Eric and his wife, Dreia, live in Lincoln and they have four children: Jaxon, Layne, Gracyn, and Aubrey. Eric Eddie is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
