Bio
James C. Ebers, ’67, enters the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame by virtue of his outstanding accomplishments as a student-athlete and his career success. While at Midland, Jim participated in both football, as reserve quarterback, and on the golf team, which took the conference championship in 1966. Jim was also an outstanding student, who was selected “Mr. Future Business Executive” at the Phi Beta Lambda State Convention in 1966. He was a member of Blue Key and named to “Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities” in 1967. Today Jim serves as General Agent for Guarantee Mutual Life Company a position he has held for 14 years. He has qualified 13 years for the Million Dollar Round Table and has won the National Quality Award for 22 years. Jim was instrumental in the formation of the Midland College Athletic Booster Club, began in 1978, and served as its first president. He also received Midland’s Alumni Achievement Award in 1985. The College in honored to induct him into the Warrior Hall of Fame.
