Bio

Athlete, teacher, coach and molder of students for 19 years at Midland College, Myron “My” Draemel was a true champion.  Honored as Coach of the Year in 1960, he excelled in character building on the basketball court, the classroom and the ball diamond.  With 400 varsity games to his coaching credit, he produced state championship teams in golf, baseball and basketball.  Not only was his professional career highlighted by semi-pro baseball and military athletic laurels, but he was also often honored for service in community youth and religious programs.
