Petrow Award winner, member of the 1,000-Point Club, All-Conference, and All-District basketball standout, Michael C. Draemel, ’68, was an all-around outstanding athlete at Midland.  His induction into the Warrior Hall of Fame, however, recognizes not only his athletic accomplishments but also his professional achievements following graduation.  He was a member of the U.S. Army All-Europe basketball team.  He taught high school and went on to become a respected business executive.  Mike’s work in the community and church complements his professional and athletic contributions.  He is a past president and founding member of Midland’s Booster Club and is a member of the Board of directors at the Fremont Golf Club.  In a typically modest fashion, Mike attributes much of his success to his experiences at Midland.  The college is honored to induct him into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame.
