Bio
Traci Bode Determan, '04, was a standout in Softball at Midland. A four-year starter in the infield at Third Base and Shortstop for Midland, Traci established herself on the diamond immediately upon her arrival on campus. At the conclusion of her four-year playing career, she had a .375 career batting average, a .654 career slugging percentage, and a .941 career fielding percentage. Traci set school career records in 11 different categories: At-bats (712), Runs (184), Hits (267), RBI (198), Doubles (44), Triples (16) Home Runs (41), Total Bases (466), Walks (78) and Assists (512). In 2003 and 2004, Traci helped guide the Warriors to back-to-back GPAC Championships, and in 2003, she helped lead Midland to their first-ever appearance in the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Traci was a four-time First Team All-Conference recipient from 2001-2004, and she was named GPAC Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004. Additionally, Traci was the NAIA Region IV Player of the Year in 2004. In 2003 and 2004, she earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-America and NAIA First Team All-America honors, respectively. She also earned NAIA Scholar All-America honors in '03 and '04. Traci graduated from Midland in 2004 with her Bachelor's Degree in Fitness and Sports Management. She is currently a Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. Traci and her husband, Barry, currently live in Shawnee, KS with their two children, Ashlie and Tyler. Traci Bode Determan is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her outstanding athletic accomplishments.
