Bio
Bob Denton, '89, was a standout in football while at MLC. As a member of the Warrior Football team as a defensive end, Denton still holds the school career record for quarterback sacks with 22 1/2. In 1983, 1985, and 1988, Denton earned 1st Team All-Conference honors. He also was named Honorable Mention All-District and Honorable Mention All-State in '83 as well as Honorable Mention All-State in '85. As a Team Co-Captain in '88, he earned NAIA 2nd Team All-America honors. During his four-year career, Midland produced a 23-15 record. The Warriors were 8-2 in 1985. Bob is the Chief Probation Officer for a 7 county district for the Nebraska State Probation Office. He received his Master of Science in Human Services from Bellevue University in 2000. Bob Denton is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
