Bio

Randy Debuhr, ’85, excelled in basketball and track while at Midland and held the season assists record in basketball until the 1994-1995 season.  Randy, who to date holds the men’s track high jump record with 7’1”, placed at nationals three years and was also selected All-American for indoor and outdoor track.  He was awarded the My Draemel Memorial Award for basketball and the George (Babe) Petrow Memorial Award.  Since graduation, Randy has continued to be involved in sports by helping with the Nebraska City High School jumpers and has also coached little league t-ball and soccer. He is currently an insurance agent for State Farm in Nebraska City and has been a member of the Legion of Honor every year since 1989.  He is a member of the Optimist Club, Masonic Lodge, Eagles Club, and Sons of the American Legion.  Randy has also served on the Nebraska City Park Board, Finance Committee for the United Methodist Church and has chaired the annual Arbor Day activities for Nebraska City.  Randy is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of his tremendous athletic and professional accomplishments.
