Bio

“Mo” Christensen, one Midland’s outstanding athletes of the mid-30s, was a four-year basketball star and captain of the team during his senior year.  “Mo” continued a three-year Midland tradition of capturing the conference scoring championship.  During his Midland years, he was a standout in a variety of activities.  He was president of Kal Beta social group, vice president of the “M” Club, member of Blue Key, sports writer and editor for THE MIDLAND and THE WARRIOR, and Best Midlander for 1937. Since graduation, he has been an enthusiastic and devoted Midland alumnus.  He has also distinguished himself as a professional educator, serving as teacher, principal, or superintendent for a number of Nebraska school systems.  He has been active in numerous community activities and has served the state of Nebraska as a dedicated educational administrator.  During his Midland years and later, he distinguished himself as an athlete, educator, and friend.
