Bio

Steve Bullock, ’93, was a standout in Baseball at Midland.  For his career from 1991-1993, Steve recorded a career .367 batting average, knocking in a total of 73 RBI and scoring 80 runs.  He produced 20 doubles, 4 triples, and 23 home runs during his career. Of his 119 career hits, 39% of those hits (47) were extra-base hits.  Steve earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-America honors at the conclusion of the 1992 season when he hit .500 for the season (72-144 at the plate).  He recorded 13 doubles, 2 triples, and 16 home runs in ’92, driving in 44 runs.  He also scored 47 runs.  Steve’s 16 home runs in ’92 were a school record until 2016.  For his performance on the baseball field, Steve earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in 1992 and 1993 and 1st Team All-District honors in 1992 and 1993.  He was also named Conference Player of the Year in ’92.  In addition to playing baseball at Midland, Steve participated in football for two years.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Midland in 1993, his Master’s Degree in History from Nebraska-Omaha in 1996, and his Ph.D. in History from Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001.  Steve currently owns and operates his own small business, OpenBook Pharmacy Advisors.  Steve and his wife, Drlynn, live in Omaha and have four children: John, Alex, Natalie, and Evelyn.  Steve Bullock is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
