Melody Robinson Britt, '87, set numerous records and claimed many championship titles during her Midland Lutheran College track career. She earned All-American honors all four years. Britt set MLC records in indoor track and field in the 60 hurdles, the long jump, the triple jump, and as a member of the sprint medley relay team. She set MLC records in outdoor track and field in the 100 hurdles, the long jump, the triple jump, the 400 relay, and the medley relay. Britt also held the NIAC records in the 100-meter hurdles, triple jump, and 400 relay in outdoor track and field, and the 60-yard hurdles, long jump, and triple jump in indoor track and field. She held the NAIA District XI records in the 100-meter hurdles, triple jump, and 400 relay in outdoor track and field. Britt is currently the manager of outpatient services for Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland. She is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for her outstanding athletic achievements.
