Bio
The 1984-85 Women's Basketball Team finished the season with a 26-5 overall record and finished 4th at the NAIA National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The team, led by Coach Joanne Bracker, averaged 74.1 points per game, compared to 57.5 points per game for their opponents, and out-rebounded their opponent by over two rebounds per game. As a team, the Lady Warriors shot an impressive 47.3% from the floor, while allowing the opponent to shoot only 38.6% from the floor. The team featured five players that averaged five or more rebounds per game. The Lady Warriors ended the season as the conference champions, bi-district champions, district champions, and 4th at nationals. In addition, they were awarded the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Sportsmanship Award at the national tournament. The 1984-85 Women's Basketball Team is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of their exceptional performance and unparalleled teamwork on the court.
