Bio

Adam Baker ’01 was a standout in basketball at Midland. Adam earned First Team All-Conference honors in 1999, 2000, and 2001. In 2001, he was also named Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Player of the Year and NAIA First Team All-America. He is the #2 all-time leading scorer at Midland with 2,019 career points. For his career, Adam averaged 17.0 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game. He set a Midland record for field goals in a career with 855. A highlight of Adam’s career was helping Midland earn a berth in the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 2000. In the final game of his career, Adam scored a career-high 40 points against Nebraska Wesleyan. Adam was named the Petrow Award winner in 2001, recognizing him as the top male athlete in his class at Midland. Adam works with his father at Park Avenue Antiques in Fremont and he is co-owner of A&A Custom Furniture. Adam Baker is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
