Bio
Brant Anderson,’91, was a standout in football at Midland. A four year starter at fullback in Midland’s vaunted wish-bone offense from 1987-90, Brant rushed for a total of 2,819 career yards. At the conclusion of his career, Brant was the 2nd all-time leading rusher at Midland. He also finished his career first in rush attempts and second in scoring. In 1990, Brant led Midland to the NAIA National Playoffs. For the season, he led the conference in rushing with 829 yards, averaging 92.1 yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry.
Brant helped guide Midland to a 5-4 overall record and a 4-1 conference record. Brant earned All-Conference honors all four years of his career, including First Team All-Conference honors in 1990. He also earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors in ’90. Brant rushed for a career-high 222 yards in the rain and snow against Doane College. Brant is a Physical Education Teacher and Assistant Football Coach with Council Bluffs, Iowa, schools. Brant Anderson is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments
