Bio
Chris Allen, '98 was a standout in men's basketball and baseball while at Midland. In basketball, Allen played a total of 70 games for his career, scoring 1,451 points, 9th all-time at MLC, and grabbing 806 rebounds. He averaged 20.7 points per game and a school record 11.5 rebounds per game from 1995-98. For the 1997-98 season, Allen averaged 27.9 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game. He was the leading scorer in the country and he ranked 4th in the country for rebounds at the conclusion of the '97-'98 season. In addition, he was named Conference Player of the Year and earned 1st Team NAIA All-America honors. As a pitcher in baseball, Allen posted a 12-5 record for his career, pitching 119 innings and recording a career 5.22 ERA. He struck out a total of 106 batters. He earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 1998, helping Midland advance to the Great Plains Regional Tournament for the 2nd consecutive year. Chris is a Sales Representative for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Omaha, NE. Christopher Allen is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
