Warriors Sweep Weekly GPAC Awards

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced this week's tennis players of the week for April 1-7, 2024. Midland University's Joren Stevens was named the GPAC Men's Player of the Week while Ari Lumanog earned GPAC Women's Player of the Week honors.

Stevens, a sophomore from Mol, Belgium, was unbeaten this week in four matches. He won at No. 1 doubles with two different partners and they won both of his singles matches in straight sets.

Lumanog, a senior from Albuquerque, New Mexico, went 4-0 this week to help the Warriors improve to 4-0 in conference play. She teamed with Elaina Fanton at No. 1 doubles for a pair of wins and then won both of her No. 1 singles matches in straight sets.
