Burton Brandt and Zeph Sivels, Men's Wrestling

Burton Brandt, a senior from Unadilla Nebraska, and Zeph Sivels, a senior from Omaha Nebraska, both finished third in their weight class at the GPAC Championships, qualifying themselves for the NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championships. At 197, Brandt won by pin in the quarterfinals, and fell by decision in the semifinals, before pinning both of his opponents in the consolation bracket to secure third place. At 285, Sivels won by decision in the quarterfinals before being defeated by fall in the semifinals. He went on to win in the consolation bracket by sudden victory and major decision to earn himself third place.
