Doyle Trout took over the Midland men’s program in 2023-2024 after spending the past three seasons coaching at the University of the Ozarks.
Trout, a former prep standout from Centennial High School, was a four-time state champion at 120 pounds. He was the 25th wrestler to win four Nebraska state titles and was named a FloNationals All-American during his senior season. After graduating, he attended the University of Wyoming where he earned his degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. At Wyoming, he recorded 21 wins on the mat for the Cowboys.
