A member of the class of 1949, Bill Schnebel was a standout in football, basketball, and tennis. He earned a master's degree from Kansas University and has done additional graduate work at a number of other institutions. For many years, he served as chairman of the Department of Physical Education and head football coach at the College of Emporia in Kansas. While there, he compiled a 62-23-1 record leading to several conference championships and national rankings. He was named NAIA District Coach of the Year and also earned the Knute Rockne Little All-American Coach of the Year honors. Bill has also distinguished himself as an educator, serving as superintendent of schools in Alva, Oklahoma. For his outstanding record as a coach and his achievements as a Warrior athlete, he is inducted into the Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame.
