Andrew Rinn, '90, was a four-year letter winner in cross country and track at Midland Lutheran College. In cross country, Rinn earned All-America honors in 1989, finishing in 21st place at the NAIA National Championship Meet. He also earned Scholar All-America honors in 1988 and 1989. In addition, Rinn was the NIAC Champion and NAIA District XI Champion in 1988. Rinn is a three-time All-American in Indoor Track. He currently holds school records in the 1000-meter run, the mile run, the two-mile run, the sprint medley relay, this distance medley relay, and the 4-mile relay. Rinn was a NIAC Champion in Indoor Track in 1987, 1989, and 1990 and he was a NAIA District XI Champion in 1989 and 1990. Rinn is a two-time All-American in Outdoor Track. He currently holds school records in the 800-meter run, the 1500-meter run, the sprint medley relay, and the distance medley relay. He was a NIAC Champion in 1988 and 1990 and a NAIA District XI Champion in 1990. He was the co-winner of the Petrow Award in 1990. After college, Rinn was a two-time winner in the Omaha Corporate Cup run. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1995. He is inducted into the Midland Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic accomplishments.
